Deputy Jeffrey Lane checked the area but was unable to locate any vehicle driving erratically or signs of someone doing so. Oct. 15, 11:38 p.m. – City of Ritzville police department reported a white male six feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, wearing khaki shorts and a red shirt walking very slowly toward town on Danekas Road near Templin Terminal. Not a local subject, staggering a bit. Officer Hunter Klewin assisted with the call since Deputy Ben Buriak, was in Washtucna. Officer Klewin made contact with the subject prior to Buriak’s arrival. Sept. 24, 6:43 p.m. – A Benge complainant advised of an unknown injury single vehicle rollover collision near East Benge-Winona Road and East Troupe Road. Deputy Ben Buriak arrived on scene and later determined the driver was under the influence. Buriak arrested the driver, Edyth Darlene McPherson, who was booked into the Adams County Jail for DUI.
