Oct. 22, 2:29 p.m. – A complainant from Spokane advised that her husband was in the area of Lacrosse and Endicott hunting today, and their three-year-old female golden retriever “Stella” went missing. Dog has dark multi-colored collar with tags and dog is micro-chipped. Washington State Patrol and Whitman County also advised.

Oct. 22, 2:48 p.m. – A Hatton complainant advised of a violation of court order at a location on Cherry Street, a report was generated.

Oct. 22, 12:29 p.m. – Deputy Dan Verhey responded to a trespassing call and was advised by a Ritzville complainant that some hunters informed him of car parts at a location on North Moody Road and West Griffith Road, Odessa. On contact the vin number was ran, and the vehicle. The vehicle parts were found to be parts from a stolen car out of Moses Lake. At Moses Lake’s request the parts were removed by a tow truck.

Oct. 22, 12:01 p.m. – A Ritzville complainant reported a theft of a motor and a pump from a water tank and the attempted theft of scrap metal from his property. The listed company employee was also contacted and provided what information he could regarding the motor and pump.

Oct. 22, 10:19 a.m. – A complainant from Moses Lake advised of unlawful deer taken on private property and the subjects not having permission to be on the property, located on East Watson Road and South Benzel Road, Washtucna. Deputy Verhey was working on two other trespassing calls at the time so Fish and Wildlife was advised. Fish and Wildlife made contact with complainant and took care of the call.

Oct. 22, 8:45 a.m. – A Ritzville complainant was advised by a friend of a possible trespassing on property near North Moody Road and West Tokio Road, Odessa. Deputy Verhey later contacted the complainant at the scene and was informed by complainant the suspects were gone before he arrived.

Oct. 22, 7:59 a.m. – A Ritzville complainant advised of trespassing on property near East Harder Road and North McCall Road. Complainant provided listed vehicle’s license number. Deputy Verhey arrived on scene and found vehicle parked on complainant’s property but no evidence to show subjects were on complainant’s property hunting. Dep. Verhey checked the area for subjects and was unable to locate them. A note and Dep. Verhey’s card were left on subject’s vehicle advising them of trespassing laws. Information was passed onto Fish and Wildlife.

Oct. 21, 5:00 p.m. – Responded to a call made by B&B Towing to a non injury, non reportable collision at a location on East Gun Club Road and Van Marter, Ritzville. Subject advised of not paying attention, looking over toward residence and drove into the ditch. The vehicle was removed by B&B Towing.

Oct. 21, 12:31 p.m. – A complainant from Wenatchee called the sheriff’s office and advised of an item believed to have been misplaced in Adams County. Deputy Ned Bernath spoke with the complainant and gathered more specific information.

Oct. 21, 9:02 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of hunters trespassing on property near West Schoessler Road two days ago. Deputy Bernath spoke with complainant via telephone and will be following up on this case. Complainant wishes to pursue charges. Dep. Bernath later spoke with complainant and it turned out that the subjects that were hunting could hunt on property. Complainant requested that the case be closed out.

Oct. 20, 9:35 p.m. – Hatton complainant advised the subject of a protection order has been attempting contact. The subject, Juan Enrique Rodriguez, was located and arrested for violation of a court order.

Oct. 20, 1:41 p.m. – A Washtucna complainant came into the office to advise of a subject in the area of South Main Street at the Lions Club, who had been behaving in a disruptive manner in the recent past. Complainant wanted deputies to be aware of the subject.

Oct. 20, 9:47 a.m. – Parker Recycling requested a hulk/junk vehicle form to be filled out for an abandoned vehicle on South Williams Lane, Lind.

Oct. 19, 4:41 p.m. – Deputy Verhey stopped Ricky Jay Cummings for speeding and arrested him for driving while license suspended in the third degree. The subject’s vehicle was towed by B&B Towing and subject was dropped off at a hotel.

Oct. 19, 4:19 p.m. – A Ritzville complainant advised that a juvenile was last seen at the Lind School getting off of the school bus and that the juvenile was supposed to ride the bus to Ritzville High School. Complainant called back and advised of locating the juvenile. Dep. Verhey disregarded.

Oct. 19, 4:10 p.m. – Washtucna complainant advised of a wallet found at the Sullivan Petro on North Main Street. At 6:36 p.m. a subject called about wallet and was given the information.

Oct. 19, 11:49 a.m. – Ritzville complainant came into the Sheriff’s office requesting assistance with a custody issue. Deputy Bernath spoke with complainant. Complainant wanted to know her options. Dep. Bernath advised complainant that at this point this is a civil matter and advised her of her options to contact the court and seek professional advice.

Oct. 19, 11:32 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of garbage dumped at Templin’s Country Corner on North Durry Road. Dep. Bernath contacted the location and will be attempting to contact responsible party for the garbage.

Oct. 18, 7:39 p.m. – Ritzville Police Department requested assistance with transporting a subject they had in protective custody that was to be picked up by Lincoln County. Sergeant Stacy Flynn approved the assist.

Oct. 18, 6:57 p.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a vehicle in the Lind area driving badly. Deputy Aaron Madison checked the area and located the subject vehicle unoccupied and parked at a residence on East Sixth. Dep. Madison attempted phone contact with complainant to obtain further information but no one answered.

Oct. 17, 10:25 p.m. – Sergeant Flynn advised of helping two juvenile subjects with a problem they were having with their four-wheelers. They were on their way back into town on East Danekas Road, Sprague. Flynn requested dispatch contact a parent of one of the subjects and advise of the situation since they were late getting home. Dispatch advised of being unable to contact the parent. The parent later called dispatch and requested information about the juvenile. Dispatch advised of the situation. Dep. Madison contacted all parties.

Oct. 17, 1:34 p.m. – Dep. Ryan Haring contacted individuals at Templin’s Country Corner on North Durry Road whose pickup had broken down. Haring offered use of his cell phone to get a ride. Haring later contacted the parties and was advised a Kalispell resident was on the way to pick the individuals up.

Oct. 17, 1:12 p.m. – Ritzville complainant called to report a non-injury vehicle versus deer collision on East Benge-Winona Road and North Benge-Ritzville Road. Sergeant Troy Mock responded from Ritzville and the collision report was completed by the Washington State Patrol.

Oct. 17, 1:00 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised there is a lost medium size dog with a black collar in the area of East Rosenoff Road and North Suko Road. In case anyone calls looking for their dog.

Oct. 17, 12:02 p.m. – A complainant from Lamona advised of a burglary at a location on North Damon Road, Odessa.

Oct. 16, 10:18 a.m. – A Lind complainant was contacted by Deputy Jeff Lane and provided with hulk vehicle forms for their abandoned vehicles.

Oct. 16, 8:02 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of trespassing hunters at a location on North Anderson Road.

Prior to Deputy Lane’s arrival complainant and hunters worked out the issue. No further contact was needed.

Oct. 16, 7:42 a.m. – Washtucna complainant advised of trespassing and illegal hunting in the area of East Ankeny Lane.

Fish and Wildlife contacted complainant prior to Deputy Lane’s arrival and determined that no trespassing or other violations appear to have occurred. Fish and Wildlife will follow up with the hunter in Grant County to confirm the harvested deer is legal.
