June 12, 10:29 p.m. – Dep. Jeff Lane arrested Heather Marie Grover for driving while license suspended third degree at milepost 83 on U.S. 395.

June 12, 9:29 p.m. – Complainant advised of cows on the roadway in the area of North Lind-Warden Road and Highway 21. Dep. Dan Verhey checked the area but was unable to locate the animals.

June 12, 9:11 p.m. – Dep. Lane provided three subjects a ride to Ritzville from the area of South Sage Road and Highway 26, Washtucna.

June 12, 4:24 a.m. – Dep. Aaron Madison attempted to contact a complainant on East Tokio Road, Ritzville, but the message box was not set up.

June 12, 2:54 a.m. – Dep. DanVerhey responded to the 900 block of East Second Street in Lind and assisted an Oakesdale complainant who had locked herself out of the vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked without damage and a waiver was signed.

June 12, 2:51 a.m. – Dep. Lane provided a Yakima subject with a ride to the Lind Rodeo Grounds.

June 12, 12:32 a.m. – A truck driver advised of an intoxicated person who stumbled onto the roadway just south of the Lind park and that evasive action was necessary to avoid striking the subject. Sgt. Brian Taylor contacted the subject and offered a ride to a parent’s home.

June 11, 10:51 p.m. – Complainant contacted Deputies Verhey and Lane and advised a subject was improperly fondling females at a party at the Lind Rodeo Grounds. Lane drove the subject to the sheriff’s office for the subject’s safety and to get a ride home.

June 11, 10:07 p.m. – Dep. Verhey contacted a male subject who was intoxicated and stumbling next to the roadway at Highway 21 and North Smart Road in Lind. Verhey assisted the subject in getting to his camping location.

June 11, 9:42 p.m. – A Wallace, Idaho, complainant reported seeing an assault and a vehicle picking up the victim in the 400 block of East Second Street in Lind. Deputies stopped the vehicle on Fifth Street and E Street. The subject was not with the vehicle but was later found. It was determined the subject was highly intoxicated and wasn’t assaulted. The subject had fallen and was assisted by friends.

June 11, 7:33 p.m. – Dep. Ryan Haring was asked to assist with a vehicle unlock in the RV campground at the Lind Rodeo Grounds. The complainant advised the vehicle had side door airbags, and Haring advised that unlocking the vehicle was not possible due to potential damage or setting off the airbag. The complainant advised of calling OnStar to unlock the vehicle.

June 11, 5:45 p.m. – Complainant advised of a two-vehicle collision at the southwest entrance of the Lind Rodeo Grounds in the 900 block of East Second Street. Dep. Buriak responded and investigated the scene.

June 11, 4:54 p.m. – A Pasco complainant advised of a non-reportable traffic accident in the 900 block of East Second Street in Lind.

June 11, 4:29 p.m. – Sgt. Flynn assisted medical crews in the 900 block of East Second Street in Lind.

June 11. 4:25 p.m. – A vehicle waiver was signed and a vehicle was unlocked for a complainant from Port Angeles.

June 11, 12:23 p.m. – Dep. Madison contacted subjects involved in a traffic accident on Second Street in Lind.

June 11, 12:12 p.m. – An anonymous subject advised of dogs left in a vehicle with the window rolled up in the 900 block of East Second Street in Lind. Dep. Madison located the vehicle and dogs. The owners were with the dogs inside the vehicle and had the windows down.

June 11, 6:42 a.m. – Deputies Verhey and Madison contacted a subject who was looking into the impound bullpen on West First Avenue in Ritzville. The subject advised he was looking at the van he rolled and also wanted to know how to get property out of the vehicle. Madison advised the subject of his options.

June 11, 4:50 a.m. – Dispatch advised of multiple 911 hang up calls from a cell phone in the area of Cow Creek about two miles north of Highway 26 and two miles east of Gray Road. Dep. Verhey checked the area but didn’t find any problems.

June 11, 2:09 a.m. – Dep. Verhey and Dep. Lane contacted a male subject in the 900 block of East Second Street in Lind and advised the subject to turn down the radio and keep the loud speaker off after a complainant reported loud music and someone using profanity while on a loud speaker.

June 10, 7:40 p.m. – Complainant in the 500 block of South Main Street in Washtucna advised of a female border collie showing up at the residence.

June 10, 1:05 p.m. – Dep. Buriak contacted a complainant on East Urquhart Road, Ritzville, about abandoned vehicles. The complainant filled out hulk vehicle forms.

June 9, 8:59 p.m. – The Othello Police Department requested assistance looking for a stolen vehicle and suspect involved in an assault in Othello. OPD further advised the vehicle and subject were possibly enroute to Hatton. The vehicle was located.

June 9, 8:43 p.m. – Complainant in the 700 block of West First Street in Lind advised of hearing a shotgun blast. It was noted that there were numerous vehicles, demolition cars and combines in the area that were being started.

June 9, 4:40 p.m. – The Lind Junior/Senior High School advised of a derby car driving through the parking area at the school. Dep. Bernath contacted the driver at a residence near the high school and advised the subject to not drive on school property or the streets.

June 8, 8:18 p.m. – Complainant on West Leisle Road, Ritzville, advised of a paving company contacting a residence and trying to sell pavement.

June 8, 5:53 p.m. – Complainant advised of finding an abandoned dog on East Heinemann Road, Ritzville, and that Adams County Pet Rescue was contacted.

June 8, 1:18 p.m. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture advised of conducting pesticide baiting for ravens in the Benge area the following day.

June 8, 9:54 a.m. – Dep. Buriak contacted a complainant on East Urquhart Road, Ritzville, about a hulk vehicle form for an abandoned boat trailer. Buriak advised the complainant that the trailer had to be inspected by a WSP VIN inspector.

June 8, 8:12 a.m. – Complainant advised of a suspicious vehicle in the area of the West Lind-Warden Road, Lind. Complainant advised that for the past two days a vehicle would drive past the house, park about a mile down the road and then drive back past the house. Complainant further advised the house had been burglarized a couple of weeks ago. Dep. Buriak checked the area for the vehicle but was unable to locate it.

June 8, 8:07 a.m. – Complainant advised of finding a dog on North Seivers Road, Ritzville. Dispatch provided contact information for Adams County Pet Rescue.

June 7, 8:56 a.m. – Templin’s Country Corner on Durry Road advised of a suspicious vehicle parked at the location for a couple of days. Dep. Buriak checked the vehicle and determined it wasn’t stolen.

June 6, 8:45 p.m. – Dep. Verhey contacted a complainant in the 300 block of East Fifth Street in Lind about receiving harassing phone calls from a subject. Verhey attempted to contact the subject, but the number provided by the complainant was not valid.

June 6, 3:53 p.m. – Complainant in the 700 block of West First Street in Lind advised that the dogs were barking and nothing was apparent to cause them to bark. Before Dep. Madison arrived, complainant called back and advised a subject was working on the horse fence.

June 5, 10:25 p.m. – Dep. Verhey arrested Henry Jared Delarosa for possession of marijuana under 40 grams at milepost 77 on U.S. 395.

June 5, 5:26 p.m. – Dep. Lane attempted to contact a complainant on Rand Lane, Ritzville. Dep. Buriak contacted the complainant, who advised of a crop duster flying too close to the residence and spraying too close to the fields. Complainant further advised of calling the FAA about the matter and they will be handling the issue.

June 5, 3:39 p.m. – Dispatch advised of a fight in the Adams County Jail.

June 5, 3:32 p.m. – Complainant advised of several cars driving in the area of West Harder Road, Lind. Complainant had contacted one of the vehicles and was advised of a rally through the area. Complainant called dispatch again and advised the vehicles were heading into Grant County. Sgt. Flynn checked the area and was unable to locate any of the rally cars.

June 5, 1:42 p.m. – Dep. Madison contacted a driver in the area of North I Street and East First Street in Lind. The subject admitted to driving the vehicle and advised that the tires would not be squealed again.
