July 30, 3:22 p.m. – Complainant advised of possible child abuse on North Seivers Road, Ritzville.

July 29, 10:17 p.m. – An Elma, Wash., complainant advised of a bull out on Weber Avenue, Ritzville. The owner was contacted and put the animal away.

July 29, 7:09 p.m. – Dep. Ned Bernath advised a Lind complainant that information regarding parole specifications need to come from the probation officer.

July 29, 12:49 p.m. – An Odessa complainant reported items missing on North Batum Road. Dispatch reminded the complainant that the information was previously reported.

July 28, 9:57 p.m. – A Washtucna complainant advised of a subject who hit a dog and left the scene on East Booth Avenue. Dep. Bernath spoke with both parties. The driver advised of not realizing the dog was hit and apologized to the owner. The dog was in the process of running across the street when it was hit.

July 28, 9:10 p.m. – Union Pacific Railroad advised of five head of cattle on the railroad right-of-way south of Palm Lake, north of Horseshoe Lake Road near Sprague. The cattle owner was contacted.

July 27, 10:49 a.m. – Complainant advised of a burglary on East Weber Road, Ritzville. Complainant advised that a window was broken and the door was left open but it appeared nothing was missing. Complainant requested extra patrols in the area.

July 27, 12:01 a.m. – Complainant advised of two people walking a dog on East Tokio Road near Klein Road, Ritzville, and thought it was strange for that time of night. Dep. Lane checked the area but was unable to locate anyone.

July 26, 9:16 p.m. – Dep. Ben Buriak checked the area of the 200 block of West Second Street in Lind for juveniles climbing the fence at the county shop but was unable to locate any kids in the area.

July 26, 6:25 p.m. – Dep. Jeff Lane arrested Alice Marie Larsen for driving while license suspended third degree on East Gun Club Road in Ritzville.

July 26, 2:20 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on East Broadway Avenue in Ritzville.

July 26, 2:18 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on North St. Clair in Lind.

July 26, 2:15 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on the South Benge-Washtucna Road, Washtucna.

July 26, 2:14 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on East Third Avenue in Ritzville.

July 26, 2:12 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on South Adams Street in Ritzville.

July 26, 2:10 p.m. – A report was generated for a registered sex offender address verification on Pine Avenue in Ritzville.

July 26, 12:50 p.m. – Complainant advised of abandoned vehicles on East Hatton Road, Lind.

July 25, 3:39 p.m. – Complainant advised of finding a dog dead on North Rand Lane, Ritzville. Complainant further advised it may be related to a crop duster. Complainant was advised to contact the attorney as there is a civil suit pending.

July 25, 1:55 p.m. – Union Pacific Railroad advised of cattle out on the roadway near Palm Lake. The responsible party was notified and removed the cattle.

July 25, 10:38 a.m. – The Ritzville Police Department investigated a reported stolen and used credit card matter on West First Avenue. It was determined the fraud occurred in the county. Dep. Buriak contacted the complainant in Mill Creek, Wash., and requested credit card records for the investigation.

July 24, 10:12 p.m. – Sgt. Stacy Flynn arrested Robert Benton Frankie at North Cow Lake and East Wellsandt Roads, Ritzville, for driving under the influence.

July 24, 7:33 p.m. – WSP requested assistance with multiple subjects at milepost 236 on eastbound I-90 at Sprague.

July 24, 7:32 p.m. – WSP requested a unit check on a report of a one-vehicle crash on Highway 261 at Benzel Road. Sgt. Flynn responded and took one subject into custody for driving while under the influence. A 12-hour hold was started for a tow.

July 24, 10:42 a.m. – Complainant on North I Street in Lind requested deputy contact regarding abandoned/hulk vehicles. Dep. Buriak filled out the hulk vehicle forms and provided them to the complainant.

July 23, 9:53 a.m. – Complainant advised of a bull out on the roadway at East Urquhart and East Harder Roads, Ritzville. The responsible party was notified and the bull was removed.

July 23, 8:10 a.m. – Complainant advised that someone had spun donuts in the grass in the 800 block of East Main Avenue, Ritzville. Dep. Buriak contacted the complainant and observed several tire tracks in the grass. The tracks appeared to originate from a small compact car. Estimated damage is $1,500.

July 23, 7:20 a.m. – A Warden resident advised that a subject had not arrived for a scheduled child exchange on North Durry Road, Ritzville. Dep. Buriak contacted the complainant and advised the complainant should wait for a while longer, but if the subject didn’t show the complainant could leave.

July 23, 2:09 a.m. – Complainant advised of an injured animal on West First Avenue in Ritzville. Dep. Lane located a porcupine with a patch of missing quills, but the porcupine appeared fine otherwise.

July 22, 11:41 a.m. – Complainant on North Batum Road, Odessa, called to report a burglary. Dep. Aaron Madison contacted the complainant by phone, and determined it was the same items missing as previously reported.

July 22, 7:26 a.m. – Complainant advised of the cattle in the roadway and in CRP ground on North Hills Road a mile and a half north of Danekas Road, Ritzville. Dispatch contacted the responsible party, who took care of the cattle.

July 21, 9:04 p.m. – Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad advised of cattle on the railroad right-of-way just north of ‘Fish’ Lake and south of Palm Lake. It was believed complainant meant Crane Lake, not Fish Lake. Per Dep. Lane, dispatch contacted the cattle owner.

July 21, 8:09 p.m. – Complainant advised of cattle out on North Hills Road, Ritzville. Complainant called the responsible party, who advised of being on the way to take care of it.

July 21, 7:40 p.m. – Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad advised of a cow out at East Danekas and East Seidl Roads, Sprague. Upon arrival, the cow jumped the fence back to where it belonged. Sgt. Flynn temporarily fixed the fence and contacted the responsible party.

July 21, 6:18 p.m. – Dep. Buriak contacted a complainant on West Providence Road, Warden. Complainant advised that traffic volume had increased and there was a lot of speeding. Complainant requested more patrols in the area to slow traffic down.

July 21, 10:32 a.m. – Complainant advised of cattle in the roadway on East Ralston-Benge Road. Dep. Madison checked the area but was unable to locate the animals. Dispatch contacted the responsible party, who advised they would check on the cattle.

July 21, 10:24 a.m. – An Odessa resident on North Batum Road advised of items missing out of a garage. Dep. Madison contacted the complainant, who has reported the items as missing numerous times.

July 21, 8:22 a.m. – Complainant on North Bauer Road, Ritzville, advised of losing a female puppy.

July 20, 5:57 p.m. – MACC (Multi Agency Communications Center) advised of a minor dog bite on North Fox Road, Warden. Health departments for Grant and Adams Counties were notified. Animal control for Grant County was advised. The dog was a family pet and current on vaccinations. The dog was put down and buried on scene.

July 20, 3:55 p.m. – Adams County Public Works advised of an employee who was involved in an accident.

July 20, 2:14 p.m. – Union Pacific Railroad advised of five head of cattle near the east side of the railroad tracks at Palm Lake, Sprague. The possible owner was contacted and advised someone would check the area.

July 20, 1:23 p.m. – Complainant advised of losing a four-month-old puppy on North Longmeier Road, Ritzville. Complainant later called and advised of finding the puppy.

July 20, 7:37 a.m. – The Ritzville Police Department advised of a domestic in progress on East Third Avenue. Dep. Buriak and WSP Trooper Jason Kiel responded until Ritzville Chief David McCormick could take over the scene.

July 20, 12:05 a.m. – Dep. Lane found a broken up desk on the side of East Danekas Road just east of Wellsandt Road, Ritzville. There was nothing of evidentiary value located and Adams County Public Works was notified.

July 19, 8:34 p.m. – Complainant advised of cattle out in the area of East Schafer and North Dewald Roads, Ritzville. Dep. Lane checked the area but was unable to locate any cattle in the dark.

July 19, 12:42 p.m. – A Lind complainant in the 300 block of East Fifth Street advised of receiving phone calls from a male subject who stated the complainant had won millions of dollars and a car. Dep. Buriak called the number and determined it was a scam.

July 19, 10:30 a.m. – A citizen at North Division Street and East Dogwood Avenue in Ritzville flagged Sgt. Brian Taylor down after locating a child walking in the street. The mother of the child arrived shortly after. It was determined the child had walked from home and was going to a grandparent’s house.
