  • Country needs to stop incurring national debt

    Updated Feb 7, 2013

Hang on to your hats! President Obama considers that his 52 percent vote during the 2012 election was a mandate by the people that he was to be granted supreme power. To h*** with the legislature! He believes that his 52 percent margin (the highest during the last five elections) gives him the right to bypass congress and misuse executive powers. He has already shown his propensity to do this during his first four years. He believes he has nothing to lose. But, the talk by the liberals of a third term should concern us...

  • Lighting Optional...

    Dale Anderson|Updated Feb 7, 2013

So they tell me that this was the most watched Super Bowl game ever. I guess part of it had to do with the fact that there were so many storylines to this game that a lot of people tuned in just to see how those particular tales would play out. Then again, there was a 34-minute power outage early in the second half that darkened part of the Superdome and play could not continue until the power was back on full bore. When the lights went out the San Francisco 49ers trailed the... Full story

  • Legislative Commentary

    Updated Feb 7, 2013

Our Majority Coalition Caucus was all set to end the third week of the 2013 legislative session by sending several good job-creation bills on their way to the House of Representatives. As the majority we had enough votes to pass bills that would reform the state workers’ compensation system in ways that will help Washington employers stay in business and possibly grow (which means more jobs). However, job creation isn’t our coalition’s only goal – we also want to leave the chaos and bickering to the “other Washingto...

Change, small electronic items, sunglasses, small personal items, clothing, shoes, and even a handgun, are among the items taken. One thing in common with each one of these vehicle prowls is the vehicles have been left unlocked. First of all, do not leave valuables in your vehicles; take them in the... Full story
