    Oct. 31, 7:42 p.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported a traffic hazard on North Johnson Road and West Lind-Warden Road. Deputy Jeffrey Lane removed a portion of a car seat from the roadway. Oct. 31, 5:33 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a vehicle on fire at North Johnson Road and West Lind-Warden Road. Deputy Lane later determined the vehicle had been stolen from Warden.   • Bake sale to benefit typhoon survivors

    The Life Care Center of Ritzville is having a bake sale to support the typhoon survivors in the Philippines on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The staff is also allowing locals to preorder their favorite pies, and orders must be placed by Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. by calling Terri or Josie at 659-1600. The bake sale is expected to have a large stock of traditional Thanksgiving goodies, and individuals are encouraged to show up early to purchase their favorite treat.
