Bake sale to benefit typhoon survivors

The Life Care Center of Ritzville is having a bake sale to support the typhoon survivors in the Philippines on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The staff is also allowing locals to preorder their favorite pies, and orders must be placed by Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. by calling Terri or Josie at 659-1600.

The bake sale is expected to have a large stock of traditional Thanksgiving goodies, and individuals are encouraged to show up early to purchase their favorite treat.

The Life Care Center of Ritzville is also accepting donations of canned food and clothing.
