    Campfires banned; other restrictions imposed SPOKANE – The state Department of Fish and Wildlife restricted campfires and other activities on publicly owned lands it manages in Eastern Washington. New restrictions went into effect Friday, July 15, until further notice.     Wolf-livestock predation rules remain unchanged OLYMPIA – The state Fish and Wildlife Commission decided July 8 not to alter the rules for wolf-livestock conflicts. The agency was considering changes during a special meeting, but opted for “Alternative 4,” no action. The decision means the rules determining when culling a wolf pack is necessary will remain unchanged and continue to operate in accordance with a policy approved in 2017.
