    Life Care Centers of America donated their long-term care center in Ritzville to the Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 on May 1, 2015. The new name is East Adams Care Center (EACC). We welcome the staff that had been employed by Life Care that are now employees of the District. We also welcome Steve Wuitschick who became the Administrator of EACC. Voting yes to approve the Bond to renovate the Hospital and Clinic allows us to begin to modernize the building and put our facility in compliance with current State and Federal requirements.     The week of September 15, the Emergency Generator, Automatic Transfer Switches, Emergency Switchboard, Air Handling Units (AHU), and Air Cooled Chiller were procured. In the following week ending on September 26th, the Boilers and Pumps and the emergency switchboard were procured. Apollo will begin their mobilization on the site starting in the middle of October.     Josh Hannum-Executive Director, Life Care Center of Ritzville At a special Hospital Board meeting August 14, 2014 the board agreed to accept the donation of Life Care Center of Ritzville, which includes land, buildings, equipment and supplies.     Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 (District) is moving forward with a plan to correct previously sited deficiencies in sprinklers and electrical systems.
