    The most emotional moment during the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Ritzville is the luminaria ceremony that takes place on Saturday night at Jimmie Snider Field. The ceremony begins promptly at 10 p.m. when the candles are lit inside the bags and the names of those who have battled cancer are scrolled on a projection screen.     The fifth annual Member/Guest Tournament will be held July 12 at the Ritzville Municipal Golf Course. The contest is an 18-hole best ball match with two person teams. The event kicks off with a no host social hour at 12 p.m. followed by tee off at 1 p.m. There is a $22 green fee; season passes are accepted as well. There will be prizes for gross and net scores.     The annual Sprague Hay Days event begins Saturday, July 12, at 9 a.m. and runs until noon Sunday, July 13, within the Sprague community. Activities will include a car show, parade, music and karaoke in the park, a fire department challenge and a Family Street Dance.     The Germans from Russia Heritage Society will celebrate the 250 anniversary of the first German colony in Russia, Dobrinka, at their convention this year.     At the Public Works portion of the Adams County Commissioner’s meeting on July 7 Director Todd O’Brien reported on road maintenance in Adams County. Crews were seal coating in the Lind area.
