    The Washtucna School principal will be getting a pie in the face, Thursday, Dec. 17. after students were able to collect more than 400 pounds of food for the Washtucna Food Bank. As of the end of last week, the students had collected over 635 pounds of canned goods. Principal Michael Amend said it was an extra special show of generosity, in a school district where the majority of students were on free or reduced lunches.
