Strata Solar Development and Swinerton Renewable Energy is holding a hiring event on April 23 from 2-7 p.m. at the Lind Senior Center on 117 N. I Street. The Mixed Attitude Dance Recitals have been announced in the local communities. Mixed Attitudes Dance performances are instructed by Karen Kinch, and include dancers from four local communities. Washington State Patrol and Adams County Fire Protection District No. 2 responded to a one-vehicle fatality collision on April 16, on Interstate 90, 20 miles west of Ritzville. According to a WSP report, Jose A. Piniero, 56, was driving a 1997 Honda Accord on I-90 when it left the roadway and entered the median. The City of Ritzville Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit based on the Ritzville School District’s application for construction, following a staff review and presentation during the April 11 meeting.
