Solar farm hiring event April 23

Strata Solar Development and Swinerton Renewable Energy is holding a hiring event on April 23 from 2-7 p.m. at the Lind Senior Center on 117 N. I Street.

The event will be is for the 28 megawatt Adams-Nielson Solar Farm project near the Town of Lind.

The construction timeline is May through October.

There are more than 155 construction jobs available for the project such as equipment operators, electricians and laborers.
