    Two local churches have announced the list of Easter services during Holy Week. At Trinity United Methodist Church, the special services begin on Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a Holy Communion service.   • Goodwill truck arrives April 25

    The Lind Calvary Assembly of God Church is again sponsoring a Goodwill trailer for Lind residents to use during spring-cleaning.   • Paving, patching to begin soon

    City council members and city staff acknowledge Tuesday that asphalt paving can’t be completed soon enough in the areas where construction crews cut into streets last fall. Halme Construction is expected to return to Ritzville by the end of the week. According to an engineering report, actual paving of the areas on several streets should be conducted April 30 through May 2, weather and conditions permitting.     Investigators worked throughout the weekend recently to catch and jail four people who they believe are responsible for a three-county arson spree this past weekend. 

 Eli J. Johnson, 24, of Eltopia; his half-brother Arthur Raymond Johnson, 36, of Eltopia; Teresa A. Farris, 24, of Othello; and Nicole M.
