LWK tennis battles against WC

The LWK tennis team took on Wilbur-Creston in a league match on April 10 and had a successful outing against the league opponent.

The high-intensity match consisted of many volleys, strong net play and a solid display of the Tigercats’ improvement since the season began.

In the No. 1 girls single competition, Lura Potter defeated Wilbur-Creston’s Janae Dasef. Potter secured the league win with a 6-0, 6-0 match score.

Amber McCaleb faced Andrea Bilotta in the No. 2 singles match on Thursday. After a first set of 4-6, and a tied set score of 2-2, McCaleb withdrew from the match.
