    The Big Bend Electric Cooperative is hosting the 74th annual membership meeting on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the C.J. Newland American Legion Memorial Hall.     Last Tuesday, President Obama gave his State of the Union address. What the president proposed was no olive branch for real, bipartisan solutions.     Jan. 23, 12:09 p.m. – Chief Dave McCormick responded to a vehicle prowl call in the 300 block of East Seventh Avenue. Complainant advised while in their house they observed a young male subject enter the complainant’s vehicle and leave toward the school. The complainant further advised they only thing taken was a pack of cigarettes, valued at $7. While investigating a separate call Sgt.
