Pursuant to RCW 43.21C.080,

notice is hereby given that

Adams County did on May 9,

2024, made a Determination of

Nonsignificance (DNS), for the

following application.

Project: LUA2024-0016 Cunningham

Solar

Description of Proposal: Obtain

a Conditional Use Permit to construct

and operate Cunningham

Solar (Project), a 2.99 megawatt

alternating-current (MWac) solar

photovoltaic (PV) energy generation

facility on 20 acres within

the Agricultural Zone.

The Project will interconnect to

Big Bend Electric Cooperative’s

(BBEC) Hatton Substation,

which is directly adjacent to the

Project Tax parcel.

Site Location: The operation is

contained in Adams County on

Tax Parcel 2532060100001,

Lead Agency: Adams County

Planning Department

Adams County has determined

that this proposal will not have

a probable significant adverse

impact on the environment. An

environmental impact statement

(EIS) is not required under RCW

43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision

was made after the review of

a completed environmental

checklist and other information

on file with the lead agency. This

information is available to this

public upon request.

Threshold Determination:

{X} This DNS is issued

pursuant to WAC 197-11-

340(2), Adams County will not

act on this proposal for 14 days

from May 15, 2024.

Timely comments on this threshold

determination must be received

no later than 4:00 PM,

May 29, 2024, for this DNS.
