Panter opens Skin Deep Aesthetics in downtown Ritzville

Much like any other personal service, Skin Deep Aesthetics is about making people feel better. The owner of the first business of its kind here in Ritzville is area resident Ruthie Panter.

Panter shares a passion through her business to help people, especially teens, notice their beauty is already there.

Through her practice, Panter shows clients how to take proper care of what each individual has without covering up, and opening the door to loving oneself from the inside out.

Skin Deep Aesthetics offers a variety of standard and specialized skin care services and products for teens, men and women of all ages. Individualized services include spa-facials, waxing, electrolysis, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, thermo-lo and adult and youth acne therapy.

Panter provides a variety of contemporary mechanical treatments using exceptional equipment combined with confidential, personalized, compassionate. These professional services are usually only seen in medispas or large day spas, which cost at least 50 percent more than Skin Deep Aesthetics.

Panter resided in Ritzville until the seventh grade when she was moved to the Spokane-Mead area for most of her high school career.

After a few years of traveling, adventures and career exploration throughout the states, Panter attended Rocky Mountain Laser College in Denver, Colorado, where she became a certified laser specialist, skin therapist and Aesthetician.

At the age of 23, Panter welcomed her daughter Lakai who is the fourth generation of women in Panter’s family. Family is the most important part of Panter’s life, which made it an easy decision to move back to Washington and close to family.

To start up a new business with something that is excitingly new to a small community, Panter’s support and guidance through the process has been the four generations of compassionate and strong women being Loomis, Bell, Panter and her daughter.

Since 2007, Panter has been in the Tri-Cities and Ritzville area working and helping take care of her grandparents and their family farm.

Being close to her family created a strong bond and relationship with her grandmother, Vivian Loomis, who has become one of her biggest fans and supporters through opening her own business.

Panter’s mother Teresa Bell currently lives in Pasco and continually supports Panter throughout her goals.

Her free time is spent completely with family and her daughter who will be attending her first year at Lind-Ritzville High School. Lakai is excited to play school sports, including volleyball, and Panter spends her evenings with Lakai practicing bumps, sets and spikes in their backyard.

Panter looks forward to educating more people about how to take care of their skin and ultimately be happy about who they are.

She encourages every member of the community to ask questions about any service offered. Her passion and focus in on achieving the healthiest reflection of ones inner beauty.

Her goals for the business are to continue with a comfortable place where customers can be completely relaxed for the time they share with Panter and take with them the relaxation of living in their own skin.

Her talent to help relieve tension and stress of daily life can prove to be a positive and well-deserved service for anyone, Panter said.

The largest and most remarkable organ of the human body is the skin with each individual having their own structure and personal “issues”, Panter said.

A confidential and personal consultation with Panter will start a partnership in establishing a care and treatment plan that fits into daily life.
