LRS baseball competes against WC in season opener

The first game of Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos baseball was held Saturday, March 21, in Wilbur against the Wilbur-Creston Wildcats.

In the first game of the doubleheader match up, Cort Ruzicka reached his 70-pitch limit by the third inning with six strikeouts, walked two and allowed only two earned opponent runs.

The Wildcats earned the win over the Broncos, 10-0.

Brandon McClure stepped on the mound for the fourth inning, Colin Sheffels pitched for the fifth and Mason Brausen finished up game.
