BATTLING FOR A SHOT

LRS Lady Broncos’ Dalyn Killian battles against a pair of Wilbur-Creston defenders last Thursday in an attempt to score a basket down low. The Lady Broncos lost to WC, 64-62. Killian scored 11 points in the contest. Freshman Tommi Swannack had 14 and Jenna Bennett led with 16. The team lost on Friday to Columbia-Burbank, 48-41. They opened league play on Tuesday with a 46-43 win over Springdale. Tessa Jantz led the scoring effort in the win with 15. Killian delivered 12 points. Swannack had nine and Mallory Kessler scored five. Randi York finished with four points.
