    The Ritzville Nazarene Church’s Caravan Program will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 10, with registration from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the church. The evening also includes a barbecue and games for all families registering. Parents are asked to come with their child for registration.     The ninth annual Safety, Health and Wellness Fair returns to Pioneer Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is hosted by Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2.     With the need to license the previous Life Care Center of Ritzville facility under the hospital district, the Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners voted to change the name of the hospital, while preserving the acronym. The board agreed to move to the title of East Adams Rural Healthcare, with Ross Heimbigner in opposition.     At the Aug. 20 meeting of the Ritzville City Council the city was updated on the status of the Division Street Overlay Project. Council Member Scott Yaeger said after a meeting the week prior, TIB informally agreed to fund the additional cost of the project due to the ADA ramps. The project would include grinding down the pavement from First Avenue to Sixth Avenue, inlaying with new pavement, ADA approved ramps at all four corners of each intersection and repairing sidewalk damage along the route.
