Drilling towers erected at well site

RITZVILLE – Two drilling rigs are now set up at the site of the Well No. 8 replacement project.

On the left is the drill for the new well, about 50 feet east and down a small hill from the original site. On the right sits a tower at the original well, where crews from Schneider Water Services of Richland, Wash., are reportedly encountering challenges removing the old casing from the well, as part of the decommissioning process.
