A photo from 25 years ago - THE WASHTUCNA FBLA service organization is conducting a landscaping project which will enhance the beauty of the surrounding school grounds. Working with the fifth and sixth grade students, the FBLA encourages them to become involved in community pride and appreciate the outcome of the project. Last fall, with the cooperation of the fifth and sixth grades, the FBLA pulled weeds around the handicap access ramp. They prepared the ground for planting the bushes and shrubs that were donated by community members. They will continue to clean up and plant greenery around the main entrance of the school through the month of March.

CUTS THE LIMIT FOR
FISHERMEN
The catch limit on game fish has been cut in two by the Adams County Game Commission. A meeting was held March 10 and it was decided to reduce the limit on fish to be caught to 25 in one day. The season for fishing will be as it has been from April 1st to November 30th. The county license fee for residents for hunting and fishing is now $1.50 and the state license fee for residents of the state is $7.50. H.W. Reimer has been appointed county game warden.
