Council members remain on current committees

RITZVILLE – Council members chose to continue to serve on the committees they were previously assigned to, throughout 2021. Assignments are as follows.

License, Rules and Permits: Chairperson Dennis Chamberlain, Michelle Plumb, Debbie Chapman.

Finance and Employee Benefits: Chairperson Mike Schrag, Mark Weigand, Dennis Chamberlain.

Health and Wellness (Garbage and Clean-Up): Chairperson Michelle Plumb, Dennis Chamberlain, Dede Boyer.

Public Safety (Fire and Police): Chairperson Dede Boyer, Mark Weigand, Debbie Chapman.

Public Works (Water, Sewer, Street, Airport): Chairperson Scott Yeager, Mike Schrag, Michelle Plumb.

Parks and Recreation (Cemetery, Park and Golf): Chairperson Scott Yeager, Michelle Plumb and Debbie Chapman.

Serving on the Personnel Committee are Mayor Gary Cook, Council Representative Dede Boyer, Department Head Julie Flyckt and Employee Representative Dave McCormick.

Additional continuing assignments are:

Dennis Chamberlain, Historic Preservation/Planning Commission; Ritzville Public Development Authority; and Adams County Solid Waste Advisory Committee, with Scott Yeager.

Scott Yeager, Quadco Regional Transportation; and Adams County WA-Cert Selection Committee.

Debbie Chapman: Volunteer Firefighters Local Board of Trustees; and Ritzville Downtown Development Association.

Dede Boyer: Ritzville Chamber of Commerce; and Law and Justice.

Mike Schrag: Adams County Development Council; and Tree Board.

Mark Weigand: Ritzville Golf Association.
