Morfin trial moved to July 28

RITZVILLE — The felony trial for Adam Morfin has been moved to 9 a.m. July 28.

Morfin, 26, of Othello, is charged with third-degree assault of a law enforcement officer and three counts of second-degree burglary.

The case was scheduled to be heard May 26 in Adams County Superior Court, but delayed due to COVID-19.

The Adams County deputy who arrested Morfin March 12, stated Morfin is also a suspect in 26 vehicle prowls in the county this year, and seven burglaries in the county in 2020. Morin is also a suspect for a string of vehicle prowls in the city of Othello, the county deputy said.
