• Deputies located a burning hay bale on a trailer. Units from ACFD #5 responded and extinguished the blaze.

Citizen Dispute – 300 Block S Reynolds Road, Othello

• Request for law enforcement assistance. Deputies determined no crime had occurred and provided information on housing assistance.

Citizen Dispute – 500 Block S Booker Road, Othello

• Request for law enforcement contact after terminating employment on a subject.

Theft – 500 Block N Main Street, Washtucna

• Report of plants stolen from a business. Investigation is ongoing.

Fraud – 2100 Block W Yeisley Road, Othello

• Fraudulent request for unemployment benefits by an unknown subject.

Fraud – 900 Block S Linda Lane, Othello

• Fraudulent request for unemployment benefits by an unknown subject.

Theft – Outside Ritzville

• Report of a stolen wallet in Airway Heights. Complainant was referred to the Airway Heights police department.

Citizen Assist – 2900 W Grant Road, Othello

• Complainant advised her boyfriend (who is currently incarcerated) had allowed subjects to stay at the house they are renting. Complainant was advised to contact the landlord.

Citizen Assist – 1100 Block S Booker Road, Othello

• Request for assistance in locating a possibly suicidal subject, who was located in another jurisdiction and fine and well.

Fraud – 800 Block S Meadowlark Lane, Othello

• Report of scam text messages.

Malicious Mischief – 600 Block S Drury Lane, Othello

• Gang-related graffiti on a fence. Investigation is ongoing.

Animal Problem – 700 Block S Hillcrest Road, Othello

• Report of a dog bite. The responsible party will be receiving a dangerous dog letter.

Traffic Hazard – 2200 Block W Cunningham Road, Othello

• Report of a possible DUI at the location.

Animal Problem – 700 Block S Sunset Acres Road, Othello

• Report of a neighbor’s dog almost biting a family member. Responsible party said they would secure their dog.

Traffic Hazard – W Bench Road, Othello

• Report of a black-colored vehicle driving recklessly.

Suspicious – S HWY 17 and W Yeisley Road, Othello

• Report of a vehicle being moved and keys missing. Deputies arrived and observed the vehicle’s key in the driver seat.

Citizen Assist – 2900 Block W Grant Road, Othello

• Report of several squatters. Investigation showed the subjects were living at the residence about a month and helped pay the rent.

May 23

Nuisance/Noise – S Eagle Court, Othello

• Noise complaint of an engine revving in the area for the previous 30 minutes.

Welfare Check – 1100 Block N Hoefel Lane, Ritzville

• Complainant reported that her husband hadn’t been reachable since 10:00 yesterday, but he was later located.

Assault – N Cow Lake Road, Ritzville

• Report of an assault at the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Abandoned Vehicle – 200 Block 2nd Ave, Hatton

• Complainant was provided with junk vehicle forms.

Theft – 1900 Block W Foley Road, Othello

• Complainant identified recovered property that was stolen. Suspect is in custody. A report will be forwarded to prosecutors for a charging determination.

Malicious Mischief – 2200 Block W Justin Place, Othello

• Gang related graffiti was observed on the back-yard fence. Investigation is ongoing.

Hazardous Condition – 2500 Block W Valley View Lane, Othello

• Report of a bee swarm in sagebrush. Dispatch contacted Grigg Apiaries in Moses Lake.

Citizen Assist – 2100 Block W Moon Road, Othello

• Report of vehicle tires burning near the location.

Nuisance/Noise – 700 Block S Reynolds Road, Othello

• Report of loud noise at the neighbor’s. Deputies contacted the subjects and explained after 2200 hours they needed to be quiet.

Citizen Assist – 700 Block S Thacker Road, Othello

• Report of child abuse/disorderly between complainant and their grandfather. The parents of the complainant did not wish to have the incident forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

May 24

Animal Problem – 2200 Block W Sielaff Road, Othello

• Complainant advised of cattle on their property. Deputies attempted to locate owners. The cattle are in a pen on complainant’s property.

Vehicle Theft – 2100 Block W Cunningham Road, Othello

• Vehicle theft call. The vehicle was entered as stolen into WACIC/NCIC. Investigation is ongoing.

Traffic Offense – S Kaylee Road and S Kristina Road, Othello

• Tomasita Sindhu-Ruiz was arrested and cited for driving with a suspended license, and released on scene.

Agency Assist – E 7th Ave and S Chelan Street, Ritzville

• Deputies assisted the Ritzville Police Department with a reported domestic.

Agency Assist – 400 Block E Cherry Ave, Ritzville

• Deputies assisted the Ritzville Police Department with a death investigation.

Weapon Offense – W Rainier Road, Othello

• Report of gun shots heard.

Citizen Dispute – 600 Block S Danielle Road, Othello

A citizen reporting a drunk friend wanting to fight with them. Deputies contacted the complainant, who was highly intoxicated. Another subject was contacted and advised the complainant does this all the time when drinking

Nuisance/Noise – 2100 Block W April Street, Othello

• Complainant advised of a dog howling constantly. The owner moved the dog.

May 25

Theft – 900 Block E Hampton Road, Othello

• Complainant reported his marijuana grow was broken into and his security camera recording system stolen. Investigation is ongoing.

Citizen Assist – 2200 Block W Parks Lane, Othello

• Request for phone contact regarding domestic issues. The complainant was advised to let her brother know of alternate living arrangements.

Traffic Offense – 2200 Block W Barbara Road, Othello

• Teresa Martinez was discovered driving with a suspended license, and was released pending citation by mail.

Traffic Offense – 2200 Block W SR 26, Othello

• Cesar Avila-Tapia was discovered driving with a suspended license and was released pending citation by mail.

Fraud – 700 Block S Wind Hill Lane, Othello

• The complainant advised of a parent that had been a victim of unemployment fraud as well as several credit card inquiries in the previous year.

May 26

Agency Assist – 4700 Block Grape Drive NE, Moses Lake

The Tactical Response Team assisted with a high-risk search warrant at the location.

Fraud – 1800 Block W Cunningham Road, Othello

Report of an unauthorized request for unemployment benefits.

Recovered Vehicle – N Batum Road and W Heinemann Road, Ritzville

Report of an abandoned boat and boat trailer blocking the roadway. The boat and trailer were stolen from the Othello area. Investigation is ongoing.

Citizen Assist – 300 Block S Main St Washtucna

• Report of unauthorized people putting trash in cans. Complainant was advised to wait until scheduled pick-up to put the trash can out.

Abandoned Vehicle – 2000 Block W Horacio Lane, Othello

• Request for law enforcement assistance with documenting vehicles as junk.

Agency Assist – S HWY 24 and W Ramona Road, Othello

• Deputies assisted the Washington State Patrol with traffic control at the location while a semi secured its load.

Fraud – 800 Block S Meadowlark Lane, Othello

• Report of an unidentified subject using the reporting party’s identity to attempt to obtain employment security benefits.

Traffic Accident – S Booker Road and W Herman Road, Othello

• Report of a roll over collision. The vehicle was towed and the driver issued an infraction.

Fraud – 1000 Block S Sundance Road, Othello

• Report of unidentified subject attempting to use the reporting party’s identity to obtain benefits.

Alarm – 700 Block S Ridgeview Loop, Othello

• False alarm.

Traffic Hazard – W Bench Road and S Broadway Ave, Othello

• Report of a traffic hazard with a child near the highway. The child’s parents advised they will maintain better supervision.

Trespassing – 2100 Block W Moon Road, Othello

• Deputies responded to a citizen assist call and the subject was trespassed at the property owner’s request.

Trespassing – 2200 Block W Sielaff Road, Othello

• Report of a juvenile trespassing at the location. The juvenile was trespass warned.

Animal Problem – 300 Block E 3rd Street, Lind

• Report of a neighbor’s dog continuously going to the complainant’s residence and acting aggressive to her animals and other subjects. Investigation is ongoing.

Assault – 2300 Block W SR 26, Othello

• Deputies responded to an assault call and determined there was no evidence of an assault. A report will be forwarded to prosecutor’s office for review.

Threatening – 400 Block W 3rd St, Lind.

Report of ongoing threats. Complainant wants the subject prosecuted for threats to kill. Investigation is ongoing.

Information – S HWY 395 near MP 70, Lind

• A vehicle was broke down, the subject said he already made arrangements for assistance but the vehicle would be left at the location overnight.
