Hospital District sells East Adams Care Center facility

A unanimous decision of the Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners resulted in the sale of the previous East Adams Care Center.

The property, with the exception of three parcels, was sold to Gibraltar Senior Living, LLC. for $500,000.

The commissioners made the decision during a special meeting on July 3. Commissioner John Kragt was absent from the meeting.

Gibraltar Senior Living currently operates a facility in Tacoma, which focuses on assisting seniors who suffer from minor confusion related to dementia, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses.
