Annual AAUW Holiday Bazaar coming to Ritzville Saturday

Holiday shoppers are invited back to the 44th Annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Ritzville Grade School. The admission-free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school, located at 401 East Sixth Avenue.

The Ritzville branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) sponsors the event and the profits are used to fund AAUW Tech Trek scholarships for young women in the local communities.

At the bazaar, attendees have a wide array of items to choose from with approximately 35 vendors, old and new on site.

Among the list of vendors is the Emanuel Lutheran Church Women, who will provide their ever-popular baked goods. Also at the event are SeneGence and LipSense, who will provide skincare and makeup products.

For those shoppers who enjoy the Scentsy products, a vendor will be onsite and will also host a raffle for the chance to win $50.

Another local vendor will be Camelina Gold, who will have healthy camelina products available for purchase.

Holiday decorations, Bronc Boosters items, stuffed animals, soaps, candles, jewelry, knit and quilted items, and much more will also be available.

This year, Classy Country Catering will serve lunch. Children of all ages are also encouraged to view the operating train system Charles Jingling will have on display in the cafeteria.

Santa is also going to be available for photos on the main stage by local photographer Kayli Maier of Kayli Maier Photography. Print packages start at $10 and residents are asked to pay in cash.

A variety of raffle tickets to support local organizations are available at the event and can be purchased upon arrival.
