Bulldogs News: School year off to a strong start at LRMS

The Lind-Ritzville Middle School had their first day of school on Aug. 28 and started the day off with an assembly discussing the theme of the year: Unity.

The Bulldog volleyball and football teams had their first practice on Aug. 29. The volleyball team had their first game of the year on Sept. 18 and played against the Reardan Indians.

The B squad was split into two teams: seventh and eighth grade students. The seventh graders lost all three games. The eighth grade won one of their games and A squad won all three.

On Sept. 20, a motivational speaker, Jake Ballentine, came to motivate the students by singing songs and sharing experiences he faced throughout his life.

The Bulldog volleyball and football teams traveled to Davenport on Sept. 21. The volleyball B squad won all three games as well as the A squad, and the football team lost 12-0.
