Second Harvest food truck in Ritzville Sept. 27

The Second Harvest food truck will be in Ritzville on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Emanuel Lutheran Church parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The produce, nutritious perishable products and other groceries are available free of charge for all families in need of food assistance. Beef products will also be provided through the “Beef Count Program.”

The event is open to the public and no appointment or documentation is required. Individuals collecting food are asked to bring a box or bag to transport their products.

The Emanuel Lutheran Church, Thrivent Financial and Asuris Northwest Health sponsor the annual event. Emanuel Lutheran is located at 206 South Division Street.
