Ralston Grange prepares booth for the annual WLCF

The Ralston Grange concession at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair will be open on Friday of the fair from 4-7 p.m., Saturday from 1-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Along with their kraut runzas and German sausage, the Grange will also be offering for sale giant chocolate zucchini muffins, Wilma’s popcorn balls, and soft pretzels this year.

Fairgoers can play bingo at the building on Friday and Saturday with games 50 cents per card or two cards for 75 cents.

On Sunday, the bingo area will be turned into a free “Kid’s Carnival” with various games, crafts and some surprise activities for kids from toddler to 8 years of age. The carnival will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

The Grange is still looking for volunteers to help with the bingo and food concession. Workers are needed for all shifts, which last 2 to 3 hours each. Helpers need not be Grange members.
