Rexford Wayne Dainty

Rexford Wayne Dainty, 78, died at home in Pasco on Wednesday, July 19. Rex was born on April 27, 1939, in Pittsburg, Kansas. He resided in Kansas until his sophomore year in high school when the family moved to Spokane.

He was very involved in the community of Washtucna. He served on several boards including the Washtucna Cemetery, Washtucna Grange Supply, Washtucna Grain Growers as well as the Ritzville Hospital Board.

Rex was very active in the Washtucna Lions Club for 42 years. He was also an Elder of the Washtucna Community Church.

A memorial service will be held for Rex and his daughter Lori Meline on Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Washtucna School gymnasium. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Rimrock Grange Hall.
