Primary Election M&O levies passing

The Aug. 1 Primary Election results show successful levy measures for the Lind, Washtucna and Ritzville communities.

Lind’s Park and Recreation District 3 maintenance and operation (M&O) levy is passing with a 68.63 percent success rate.

The Park and Recreation District 4 in Ritzville also shows strong support for the M&O levy for the Ritzville Water Park. The ballot measure received 399 votes in favor of the measure during the initial count, accounting for 70.87 percent of total votes.

For Washtucna, the Cemetery District 1 M&O levy is passing at 74.68 percent in favor of the measure.
