Voter registration deadline for Primary Election is July 3

July 3 is the deadline for mail and online new registrations, and voter updates prior to the August 1 Primary Election.

After July 3, voter registration closes to transfers and address changes within Washington state until after the August 1 Primary Election.

A person can register online at http://www.vote.wa.gov or in person at the Adams County Auditor’s Office at 210 West Broadway Avenue in Ritzville. Voters can also make address changes online or in person.

State law permits persons to register to vote through July 24, provided they are new registrants to the State of Washington. Persons so registering must register in person at the office of the Adams County Auditor, in the Adams County Courthouse in Ritzville.

Only voters not already registered in the State of Washington may register during this period.
