Raffle drawing allows winner to drive combine in Derby Saturday

The Lind Lions Club is hosting a raffle drawing during the beginning of the Combine Demolition Derby and the winner receives a unique opportunity to help celebrate the 30th anniversary event.

The raffle awards the winner with the chance to drive a combine in the Derby competition. The raffle begins on Friday night at the car and pickup races, beginning at 6 p.m., and continues until the start of the races on Saturday.

Tickets are $10 and entrants must be at least 18 years old. The drawing will take place prior to the start of Derby, and the winner will have a chance to learn how to operate the machine, and also learn the safety and rules of the event.

Tickets can be purchased from Grant Miller on Friday night, and can also be purchased on Saturday at the parade and barbecue in the park.
