Governor’s Summit on career connected learning helps expand ideas

Community members came together on May 31 to exchange ideas on helping local youth find paths to employment, further education, and future success.

Participants were part of the first ever Governor’s Summit on Career Connected Learning, which included representatives from local business and industry, educators, parents and other interested citizens.

The local event facilitated by WSU Extension and Adams County Development Council was one of more than 26 sites in the state that exchanged ideas on how to better prepare youth for work and careers.
