Schoesler leads Senate in confirming Brett Blankenship as WSU regent

Washtucna resident Brett Blankenship’s appointment to a five-year term as a Washington State University regent was confirmed by the state Senate on Tuesday.

Senate Majority Leader Mark Schoesler of Ritzville was first to speak in favor of confirming Blankenship, who was appointed to the board of regents by the governor this past September.
