MCT production of The Princess and the Pea on March 10 in Lind

Local students are putting a new spin on a classic story on Friday, March 10, at the Lind-Ritzville Middle School gymasium in Lind when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students from Lind Elementary and Lind-Ritzville Middle School present “The Princess and the Pea”.

The local cast features Dakota Killian as the Princess and LeaCadia Bren as the Pea. Ireana Goodman, Sonia Landis, Sage Rountree and Cooper Rushing will play the four Leprechauns.

Also featured are the Royal Family Members of Riverdom, King and Queen Size who will be played by Levi Goodman and Mercedes Miller.

The Royal Family of Glacierdom, Storm King, Snow Queen and the Prince will be played by Camron Olson, Collette Nichols and Thomas Brown. Jack Frost, the troublesome cousin of the Prince, will be played by Willow Rountree.

The “wannabe princesses” include Nyleana Bailey, Lynzi Gaede, Maiah Hilton, and Faith Draper.

The citizens of Riverdom will be played by Kaylee Horning, Inara Martin, Trever Bailey, Ryan Rainsberry, Douglas Olson, Brayan Gutierrez-Victoriano, Aydon Morgan and Siobhan Scherzinger.

Michaelah Sherman, Kiera Martin, Beau Fode, Damon Schilling, Hunter Rushing, Reeta Dean, Caden Bates and Trystin Fox will play the citizens of Glacierdom.

To complete the ensemble, Rudy Roth, Ashlynn Bates, Jackson Phelps, Makayla Phelps, Harlee Ruth, Peyton Ruth, Jayce Schilling, Ava Fode, Isabella Najera, Jeremy Ermey, Brayden Wahl, Armando Rubio-Meraz and William Rainsberry will appear as the dancing Dust Bunnies.

Emma Dennis and Aurora Younce have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week.

“The Princess and the Pea” will be presented at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Lind-Ritzville Middle School Gym in Lind on Friday, March 10.

The cost of tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and children ages 2 and under are free. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

The MCT residency in Lind is presented locally by Lind Elementary and Lind-Ritzville Middle Schools with support from Caring Neighbors, the Lind Lions Club, CF Industries, Box Tops for Education, Leo’s Photography and Target.
