Fundraiser event in Washtucna May 1

On May 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ed Dailey and some musical friends will perform a free concert at the Washtucna Community Church located at 125 South Church Street.

Dailey has been on the radio for 20 years with his classic country radio show, which currently runs in the mornings on 102.7 KORD out of the Tri-Cities.

Dailey is a singer, professional speaker, songwriter and music producer. He has a heart for people in need and this concert is solely to benefit the homeless.

Dailey is performing Gospel and Country music.

Attendees are encourages to bring food for the local food bank and blankets, hats, socks or personal care items for the homeless.

The food will go to the Washtucna Food Pantry and any extra will be taken to the Ritzville Food Pantry.

The clothing items will go to the Project Warm Up and Homeless Veteran Groups. Project Warm Up is a nonprofit organization based in the Tri-Cities. They collect any clothing items and blankets to help those in need.

Dailey will also be selling some of his music with 50 percent of the proceeds going to Project Warm Up.
