Primary election votes narrow Legislative, Lind council races

Primary Election ballots are sent to registered voters on Friday, July 17, for the August 4 Primary Election.

On the ballot, voters in Adams County will be voting on the State Representative position for the Fourth District for two candidates to move on to the next election, while Lind residents will also be voting to move two candidates to the General Election ballot.

Running for the State Representative office are Mary Dye, Richard Lathim and Kenneth Caylor.

In Lind, incumbent Paula Bell is seeking reelection against opponents John Claypool and Richard Baldwin.

Since there are three candidates running for the positions, the Primary Election narrows the race so only two candidates will appear on the Nov. 3 General Election ballot.
