Kindergarten enrollment begins in Ritzville

Ritzville Grade School is now enrolling kindergarten students for the upcoming school year.

Students must be five years of age by Aug. 31, with proper immunization records and birth certificate required for enrollment.

Registration forms are available at Ritzville Grade School and the district office or can be found online at http://www.lrschools.org.

All students who are registering for kindergarten are required to sign up for a time to meet with the teacher.

Upon scheduled appointment, all paperwork including immunization records and birth certificate will be turned in at that time. Parents are asked to call the office at 509-659-0232 to schedule an appointment for either May 11 or 18.

Students who are already attending preschool at Ritzville Grade School are not required to fill out paperwork but are, however, required to schedule an appointment to meet with the teacher.

Wednesday, May 13, all children enrolling in kindergarten are invited to tour the kindergarten classroom between 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.

Future Ritzville Grade School kindergarten students will be shown around the classroom and have time to get to know the current kindergarten class and teacher, Diane Leffel.

Visitors are asked to check in at the Grade School office upon arrival.

For any questions, contact Leffel at 509-659-0232 or [email protected].

The district office can be reached at 509-659-1660.
