Easter egg hunts conclude this weekend

The Life Care Center of Ritzville is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Friday, April 3, and begins at 10 a.m. for children six and under. Children should bring their own basket to collect eggs and snacks are provided at the event.

The hunt also provides an opportunity for adults and children to pet baby animals of all different sizes. The Easter bunny also plans to make a special appearance at the event.

The Washtucna Associated Student Body members are sponsoring the Washtucna Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4. The Easter egg hunt begins at 9 a.m. at Bassett Park and children in the sixth grade or younger are welcome to participate.

The Washtucna ASB is accepting cash, individually wrapped candy and prize donations at the Washtunca school office.

The Washtucna Lions Club is serving a breakfast from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. The breakfast is provided by donation only.

The Lind Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Lind Lions Club, takes place on April 4 at the Lind Town Park beginning at 11 a.m. The hunt is open to children in preschool through sixth grade, and baskets and candy are the prizes for the event.

Beginning at 1 p.m. on April 4, the kite-flying contest takes place at the Lind Airport. Participants must bring their own kite.
