Pheasants Forever gears up for annual auction

This weekend the Adams County Pheasants Forever Ritzville Chapter No. 634 organization is holding its 16th Annual Pheasants Forever Banquet at the C.J. Newland American Legion hall.

The evening begins with social hour at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, with a barbecued beef roast and buffet dinner at 7 p.m.

James Wahl, Ron Manke, Dale Stevenson and Tim Geschke are preparing the barbecued beef while Marie Borth and Classy Country Catering is providing the side dishes for the dinner.

The auction will begin at 8 p.m. and the members of Pheasants Forever have again organized a variety of appealing items for attendees to bid on.

There will also be items from HAV Western Wear in Spokane Valley available at the auction. Other auction items include an Essential Massage Spa package and a Man Cave Dinner.

Live and silent auctions will run throughout the evening.

In addition to the auction items attendees will have the opportunity to win one of the specialty raffle items.

Raffle prizes at the event include A BB gun for the Ringneck raffle; a Henry Arms Lever Action .22LR engraved by Ron Kison; and the framed print for the sponsors’ raffle.

There are also over 100 items to be given away in the dollar raffle.

A special prize has also been organized for the youth raffle this year, a $100 gift certificate to FastKart Speedway in Spokane.
