Ralston Grange plans holiday activities

The 84th annual Ralston Grange Community Christmas Party will be held on Sunday, Dec. 7. This traditional event, open to all, has entertained families for five generations.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, followed by the program.

The program consists of entertainment provided by those attending with children recitations, musical, dance and instrumental numbers, or anything else participants would like to perform.

A special visit from Santa Claus concludes the evening’s festivities and parents are asked to bring a small, wrapped, gift for their children for Santa to give to them that evening. There are door prizes given out throughout the program and candy bags for the kids.

For more information contact Randy Roth at [email protected] or by phone at 659-0893.

Decorating of the Grange hall for the Christmas party will take place on Saturday, Dec.6, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

A breakfast of pancakes and sausage will be served to those attending.

All decorations are provided by the Grange but help is needed in setting up the hall for the potluck and “hanging the greens”. The mornings activities will conclude in time for those who want to attend the annual Ritzville Christmas Bazaar to make it to the 10 a.m. opening.

The Ralston Junior Grange is sponsoring a children’s craft day at their hall in Ralston this Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is open to children 5 to 14 years of age.

Lunch will be provided.

Those planning on attending are asked to contact either Codi Titus at 998-3651 or Janice Dennis at 677-3448.
