Locals reminded to be safe on Halloween

On Halloween night, ghosts, goblins, vampires and more roam the streets as local youth set out to collect treats from residents.

Adams County Sheriff John Hunt is reminding adults and children alike to take precautions and stay safe during the nighttime event.

Parents are reminded that children ages 12 and under should always be accompanied by an adult when trick-or-treating. Children over the age of 12 should agree upon a route with an adult before they leave the home.
