On Thursday Oct. 16 the LRS Lady Broncos took on the Liberty Lancers in an away game.
The Lancers had been able to defeat the Broncos earlier this year at the Rosalia Tournament and Coach Cari Galbreath expected the team would face fierce competition from the Lancers saying they were much improved from previous years and they seemed “hungry” to defeat the Broncos.
The Lancers pushed the match to five, winning the first and fourth sets 25-17 and 25-10.
The Broncos took the second, third and fifth sets 25-23, 25-16 and 16-14.
