Julie Elliot Weitensteiner Brown of Spokane, formerly of Ritzville died on August 13.
She graduated from Ritzville High School in 1959, moved to Cheney to work at the college and then moved to Spokane to work in the insurance industry until retirement.
Julie felt very blessed throughout her life by the love of her family and friends.
Our hearts will always remember Julie’s gentleness, kindness and generous heart, as well as her sense of humor that continually brought smiles and laughter into our lives.
A brother, Verlin Elliot of Everett; sister Marin Fode of Lind; grandchildren Chad, Zachary and Emma; daughter-in-law Teresa Weitensteiner of Spokane, and many nieces and nephews survive her.
Julie was preceded in death by husband, Richard Brown; son Nick Weitensteiner; parents Martin and Esther Elliot and brother Gary Elliot.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Morning Star Boys Ranch in Spokane or a memorial of your choice.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
