Harvest Dance to return to Lind on Saturday

After several years the Harvest Dance will be returning to Lind on Saturday, Aug. 23.

From 7 p.m. to midnight residents of the area are invited to attend a dance on Second Street in front of Jim’s Market.

The dance, which is free to attend, will feature Music Magic Entertainment from Spokane Valley that will provide music and entertainment for the evening. They have the ability to play any style of music from the 1940’s to music released yesterday as well as offering karaoke throughout the night.

Kids Karaoke begins 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. with regular karaoke available until midnight.

Slim’s Bar and Grill and Cathy Jo’s Catering/Classy Country Catering will be providing food at the event.

Cathy Jo’s Catering/Classy Country Catering will offer chicken kabobs, corn on the cob, German sausage dog, hotdogs, a variety of sodas and desserts.

The event was possible thanks to generous donations to cover the event insurance and pay for the music and entertainment for the evening.

More information is available on posters at the Lind Community Board, the Lind Post Office and Harvest Foods. Posters with information regarding the dance have been posted in Benge and Connell as well.
