August book club dates announced

The AAUW and Page Turners Book Clubs are hosting meetings during the month of August.

The Ritzville Public Library Book Club is not meeting in August.

The next library book club date for the group will be Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ritzville Public Library.

The AAUW Book Club is meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. at The Ritz Roadhouse.

The group is reading “The Lives of Lesbian Elders: Looking Back, Looking Forward” by D, Merilee Clunis, Pat A. Freeman, Nancy M. Nystrom and Karen I. Fredriksen-Goldsen.

The Page Turners Book Club is meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Ritzville Public Library basement.

The book club is for children between the ages of eight and 12.

The Page Turners Book Club is reading “Number the Stars” by Lois Lowry.
