AAUW hosting Meet and Greet on Aug. 14

The Ritzville branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) is hosting a Meet and Greet event on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 4 p.m. at the Burroughs’ Home. Any female college graduate with a bachelor’s degree or AA degree is eligible for membership and is invited to attend the event.

The Meet and Greet serves as an opportunity to speak with current members, ask questions and join AAUW for the 2014-15 year. Snacks and cold drinks are provided at the event.

The AAUW’s main goal is to empower women with education and with equity issues. The AAUW formed in 1881.
